So the Congresso was a real blessing with no rain, no accidents, tons of salvations, and a new excitement! And yes, I was in the final presentation as one of the angels, got to say a few lines, and get my face painted. The presentation was about Judgement Day, and included Isaiah as Jesus appearing floating in the air (being held up by a super tall crane), landing smoothly on a huge throne, judging different people from all walks of life, with street dance and hip-hop presentations to great Christian music respresenting a battle in the spiritual realm, ending with “Jesus” levitating from his throne (really cool effect) telling the people how much he loves them and wants to have fellowship with them, the pastor made the alter call, and finally ending with a final, awesome street-dance (super fast coreographed dance with a mix of types of dance) presentation (again to awesome Christian music) representing the celebration that goes on in heaven for each person that comes to Christ! And a fireworks show to compliment that presentation….needless to say, it was powerful, exciting, incredible! And through it all we could see God’s hand moving. It made the 9pm-2am practices (the last night we practiced until 7:30am) worth it all! Well, enough blabbering, check out the pictures:
Paul an actor???
12 07 2008This last picture, there are people in the left and right HUGE picture frames. The people in the left one are doing life without Christ and throughout the skit are judged. The people in the right are doing life with Christ and are accepted into the presence of God on Judgement day. (I’m the angel on the stage to the right of the crown :)
P.S. I’m in another skit today presenting at our young adults church service, where there are almost always over 500 in attendance. Tonight is going to be extra evangelistic and we are taking lots of non-Christians, so let’s be praying!

Those pics are amazing! I can’t get over how beautiful everything is. I’m so glad that the Congresso da Paz was a success.
Such an angelic glow… Shakepearean dreams DO come true! It looks & sounds like you guys had a blast… and very eternally worth it.
